As Senior Instructor, Dave has had his own success in a mentoring program we set up at OKKO, and now has taken on a larger group of young students, his duties will involve taking the group through various high level Kata`s and also demonstrate the combat drills in them.
Dave also acts as the Chief Instructors Uke, and frequently is called upon to experience pain to demonstrate Self-Defence techniques to the students,
As Senior Instructor, Dave is also in the process of completing his NVQ, and Child protection policy, as all instructors at OKKO must do.Sensei Dave Rowley is OKKO`s 2nd in command and has equal say in any new policy or subject within the organisation.When the Chief Instructor isnt present Sensei Dave automatically takes over this role.

Sensei Matt comes to us with a wealth knowledge and experience in the martial arts, im sure i speak for all of OKKO Karate Jutsu when i say "Welcome aboard" and we all look forward to learning from you, personally im especially excited about a new Venture Sensei Matt is doing at the moment, im afraid i cant say anymore about it at the moment, but just as soon as i am able to.....I will.

Matthew Sylvester is currently Features Editor for ‘Fighters’, ‘Combat’, ‘TKD & Korean Martial Arts’ and ‘Traditional Karate’. These are the four leading martial arts magazines in the United Kingdom.
With regard to his martial arts background he has been studying martial arts since 1991. In 1995 he hosted Professor Rick Clark of the ADK and since then has been studying pressure points and their uses in the martial arts and on the street.
He has also dabbled in BJJ, Eskrima, Muay Thai, Kyokushinkai, Lau Gar, American Kenpo, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kuk Sool Won and Ninjutsu.
